Dr. Gokhale is the recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Professor award by the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and received the Teaching Excellence award from the School of Engineering, Vanderbilt University, in 2005. He is coauthor of Trenchless Technology: Pipeline and Utility Design, Construction, and Renewal (McGraw-Hill Professional, 2005).
